An idea could be world-changing but it is nothing unless well-executed. For quite sometime now, there has been a debate over which is more significant- the strategy or the execution. And without a doubt, I say that you could come up with a million dollar idea and invest enough time and effort into strategizing, but none of the above shall count if anything goes wrong with the execution. One simple reason behind me firmly believing so is because –
The world wants results, and not reasons.
As is popularly observed, no prospective funder holds faith in just an idea unless the person notices some executional potential in the advocator. What I mean to say is an idea is not the end; it is the execution of the idea that matters.
History has instances of businesses that profited out of exceptional execution of an idea that was not even original. To better support my belief, let me state that neither Google nor Facebook were the first of their kind. Moreover, ideas can be copied, stolen or shared but execution can only be perfected.
For any enterprise to bear fruits of success they got to make it happen. Proper execution demands good preparation, attention to details, outstanding communication, industriousness guided by dedication, and most importantly accountability to take a business great heights. Once all the above is achieved, there is absolutely no stopping!
